Released as part of the Jordan x PSG Collection, the Air Jordan 5 Retro PSG edition is the standout piece from the much-anticipated collaboration, bringing the style-conscious soul of Paris to the feet of ballers around the world. Check out all the details of the highly anticipated drop below.

In 1990, we saw the first ever Air Jordan model to arrive with a clear rubber sole, reflective details and a moulded ankle collar, the Air Jordan V. Taking inspiration from the aggressive look of the World War II Mustang fighter jet, the 5 was crafted by Tinker Hatfield with Jordan’s dog fight-like flight and biting style of play in mind.

"Based on the now iconic shoe, the PSG edition stays true to its roots with those same OG design cues that dropped almost 30 years ago."

Based on the now iconic shoe, the PSG edition stays true to its roots with those same OG design cues that dropped almost 30 years ago. Reppin’ similar palette cues to the OG, sneakerheads, ballers and PSG aficionados alike will be all over the additional colab touches that sets this limited release apart.

Equipped with Paris-themed details throughout, the Air Jordan 5 steps it up with PSG’s crest embroidered on the heel in place of the OG’s Nike Air decal, while its insoles read “ICI C’EST PARIS”, which translates to “Here is Paris”. Other modifications include the OG’s transparent outsole which allows you to see right through to an oversized PSG x Jumpman logo sitting underneath the midsole. Finished off with a “75” replacing the iconic “23” on its lateral heel, a subtle nod to the postal code of Paris.

Whether you’re a baller, sneakerhead or PSG fanatic, you’ll have to be quick to get your hands on a pair as this is a strictly limited release affair.
