Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Black / Black

Introduced in 1966, the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 trainers were the first ever shoes to feature the now-famous Tiger Stripes. They were worn at the Mexico Olympic Games in 1968.

In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka founded Onitsuka Tiger, the forerunner of ASICS today. Mr. Onitsuka passionately believed that sport not only reinforced the physical health, it also taught young people to observe rules, discipline and manners. Since Onitsuka Tiger began back in 1949, it has gone on to become an iconic, global 'sports-fashion brand with a unique Japanese sports heritage.
