He was flashy before flashy was cool, was magical before there was 'Magic' and collaborated with one of America's most famous trainer brands, PF-Flyers.
Long before the flash of Kobe or the air of Jordan, there was the first basketball hero of a generation. The dazzling prowess of ''the Cooz'' graced the game of basketball which witnessed the tricky, fast, riveting moves of new star Bob Cousy. All of these assets were Cousy's stock and trade. Benched early in his college career because his coach didn't like his revolutionary, razzle-dazzle style, Cousy went on to help build the Boston Celtics of the 1950's and 1960's into basketball's most enduring dynasty...America's team. Cousy had passion and intensity like no other player of his time and went on to play in 13 straight NBA All-Star Games and earned six NBA championship rings.
