Nike Air Max 90 Trainers – White/Black

The Nike Air max 90 was first released in 1990 hence the name but it was referred to as the “Air Max” or the “Air Max III” till 2000 when they changed it's name to the Air Max 90. They choose this name because of it's launch year.

The first colour way produced was the classic White/Black/Cool Grey/Red. The radiant red around the Air Unit is what attracted people as it exaggerated the thickness of the midsole. The matching thermoplastic straps and rubber heel patch added the overall effect. The upper was made of Duromesh, synthetic suede and synthetic lather.

The Air Max 90 was part of Nike’s earliest limited edition ranges, in the same year Nike produced special leather limited editions in several colour ways.

In 2002 Nike launched two more types of the Air Max 90, which were the Escape Air Max 90 and a python inspired edition.
